Laser repair service

Diagnose the fault before replacing the instrument.

Impact damage, intermittent operation, charging faults, poor rotation, receiver issues and loss of accuracy do not always mean an instrument is beyond economical repair. A workshop assessment establishes the actual condition and whether parts and labour are justified.

The form captures the model and symptoms up front, reducing unnecessary back-and-forth and giving the workshop enough information to confirm whether the equipment can be accepted.

Laser calibration

Verify accuracy before it affects the work.

Calibration checks confirm whether an instrument is operating within the appropriate tolerance. Where required and possible, adjustment is completed before the result is documented.

Annual calibration is a common baseline, while equipment exposed to frequent transport, impact, heavy use or contract-specific quality requirements may need more frequent checks.

  • Pre-use or scheduled accuracy verification
  • Post-impact or suspected drift checks
  • Documented calibration results
  • Clear identification of equipment and model

Frequently asked questions

Before you send equipment.

How often should a laser level be calibrated?+

Calibration frequency depends on use, handling and site requirements. As a practical baseline, many businesses arrange annual calibration, with six-month checks for heavily used or compliance-critical equipment.

Can you repair equipment that was not purchased from you?+

Yes. The workshop can assess many supported brands and models regardless of where they were purchased. Submit the model and fault details for confirmation.

Do you provide a calibration certificate?+

Where calibration is completed, the returned equipment can be supplied with the relevant calibration documentation and recorded results.

Can I send equipment by courier?+

Yes. Equipment can be delivered or shipped to the Penistone workshop. Pack it securely, include your contact details and use an insured, tracked service.

Do you support older equipment?+

Many legacy Spectra Precision, Trimble, Topcon and related models can still be assessed. Parts availability determines whether a full repair is economical.
